Lima Jawatan, Satu Tujuan: Membangun Tubuh Kristus (Efesus 4:11–16)

Five Ministries, One Goal: Building the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11–16)

The five areas of ministry—apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher—are not titles for personal status or honor, but rather gifts of service given by God to equip the church to grow in maturity in Christ.

Ministry is not about how high a position or title we hold, but how faithfully we carry out our calling to build up His body.

Instead of simply asking, "What is my ministry?" let us ask ourselves: "Does my ministry equip the church and build up the body of Christ?"

The Purpose of Ministry According to Ephesians 4:11–16:

Equipping the Saints: Directing each church member to be able to carry out their respective ministry functions.

The theme of Spiritual Maturity: Leading the church toward unity in the faith and knowledge of the Son of God.

Building the Body of Christ: interpreting the whole church as growing in love and mutual support.

“And He gave the apostles and prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of service, for building up the body of Christ.” — Ephesians 4:11-12
